This eBook, Moneyfarm’s ultimate guide to ISAs, runs through everything you need to know about ISAs; from the current ISA allowance all the way through to future developments. This eBook was produced to equip you with the knowledge that you need to navigate the savings and investment landscape.

Many changes came in this tax year that will hopefully encourage everyone to save more, but we felt information on how to navigate the new ISA landscape was lacking.

For the higher rate tax payer (you’ll have an income between £43,001 and £150,000 per year) the personal savings allowance is now £500. That means that you can earn up to 3.2% in interest per year on £15,240 (last year’s ISA allowance) before having to pay any tax. With interest rates staying at historic lows and many Cash ISA interest rates sitting at around 1.3% there is little need for a Cash ISA this year.

With this in mind, Moneyfarm’s eBook discusses each type of ISA, the life stages at which you should consider using the different types of ISA and the rewards you could get from them. We have also analysed the latest data from HMRC to see how ISAs are being used across the UK.

If you are managing to save, and looking to make the most out of those savings, this eBook will tell you everything you need to know about one of the UK’s great tax breaks. The Government has designed the ISA to make saving easier for everyone but you do need to understand the landscape.

This eBook will help you throughout the tax year. You can download it, print it out, save it to your phone, whichever you prefer. You can read it from the comfort of your home or on the move. We would recommend you save it somewhere, so when the time comes to make those difficult financial decisions, you can use it as a reference point.
